Founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Trine Andersen, Ferm Living designs furniture and objects for the home with a Scandinavian eye for proportion, color and everyday use. Each piece is made to be lived with, simple in form and quietly characterful.

The Giraffe Bookcase turns storage into something a child will want to look at. A tall, angled neck and a pared-back frame give it the outline of a giraffe without tipping into novelty, and three open shelves hold picture books, toys and treasures within easy reach. Finished in soft Cashmere over FSC™-certified MDF, it's a calm, sculptural piece for nurseries, children's bedrooms and playrooms, and one that grows with them.
