I love this time of year because of that weird period between Christmas and the New Year when things really slow down and somehow the day to day responsibilities seem to go on the backburner and the space just presents itself for reflection. We have so much to be thankful for as we head into 2020 and we wanted to take a quick moment to share some highlights from the year past.

We love keeping it fresh in the shop and bringing in new products is both fun and one of the most exciting aspects of the business. What's even more rewarding is seeing which newbies you guys respond to and the babes below were our top selling newcomers of 2019.

The Classics of  2019

While some of the below products are new, others just continue to be best sellers year after year. Like the JWDA Lamp...it's just a great design and great value so there's no surprise it's still tops our best seller list. I also love that some everyday design "tools" make this list like the Sand doormat from Heymat and Laundry Basket from HAY because we love nothing better than elevating the mundane.

Events

One thing we particularly loved about 2019 were the collaborations with fellow local business owners and artists. We were inspired by their work and loved sharing the community around these events. 

MOTHER'S DAY FLORALS

We are still in love with the floral arrangements Rosehip Flora created for our Mother's Day Floral Event.  

PERFECT PLANT PAIRING EVENT WITH FROND

You guys know how much we love plants and turning Nannie Inez into a plant jungle with the help of Sara Barnes of Frond Plant Shop was definitely a highlight. Sara brought her plants and her plant knowledge for our Perfect Plant Pairing Workshop.

Okay now this event...wow...this goes down in the record books for all time favorite event and here's why. Through Social Media, I discovered Robert's work and was absolutely delighted to learn that he is based in Austin. From our very first meeting, we were just blown away at Robert's dedication to his work, his generosity with his time and his absolute professionalism. We starting planning the show DESEO back in February of 2019 and to see it all come to life this last May was just so rewarding and so fun. The pieces that made DESEO are stunning and most are now living in their new homes but working with Robert was seriously the best part of the event.
