Originally designed in 1965 by Louis Weisdorf and first produced in 1967, the Turbo Pendant exemplifies sculptural simplicity and structural complexity in perfect harmony. Inspired by the lightness of Japanese rice paper, Weisdorf reinterpreted the form in durable aluminum, creating twelve spiral lamellae that unite into a flower-like globe. The result is a pendant that feels both airy and strong, casting an even, diffused light while celebrating the designer’s fascination with repeated geometric forms.
