Designed in 1972 by the legendary Finnish lighting designer Paavo Tynell, this pendant exemplifies his refined craftsmanship and sensitivity to material. Each conical shade is made from hand-sewn bamboo slats, joined with a linen liner and mounted on a wire frame to create a soft interplay of light and shadow. The light radiates both downward and through the natural fibers, producing a warm, ambient glow. Tynell’s signature brass detailing lends a timeless accent, while the fabric diffuser and decorative brass finial complete the composition with elegant restraint.
