Originally designed in 1955 for the attic apartments of Antoni Gaudí’s La Pedrera in Barcelona, the Pedrera PD2 Floor Lamp channels architect Barba Corsini’s signature “powerful simplicity” into a sculptural light. A tall, cylindrical shade in perforated metal rests on a slender steel base, echoing the building’s vaulted ceilings and chimney forms while casting a softly patterned glow across the room.
The matte black finish and graphic silhouette feel both industrial and refined, making the lamp a natural fit beside a sofa, lounge chair, or in an architectural corner that calls for presence without bulk. A textile cord with inline dimmer lets you tune the light from intimate to bright, so the Pedrera works just as well for evening reading as it does as a warm, atmospheric anchor in the living room.
