Designed in 1953 by Mathieu Matégot, the Matégot Flower Pot showcases the designer’s inventive use of perforated metal, transformed into a material of lightness and refinement. Crafted from Matégot’s signature Rigitulle—a crinkled metal mesh that mimics the delicacy of fabric—the piece balances structure and fluidity with sculptural grace.

Available in three sizes, the Matégot Flower Pot can stand alone or be styled in clusters to create an elegant sense of asymmetry. The largest size doubles as a sculptural wastebasket, highlighting the versatility that defined Matégot’s mid-century designs.
